The Council for Community Enrichment, Incorporated (CCE, Inc.), a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, is the foundation and fundraising entity for the Tau Pi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. The CCE, Inc. was organized in 2004 for educational and charitable purposes to enhance the lives of the residents of DeKalb County, Georgia, in the Stone Mountain and Lithonia communities, specifically. The CCE, Inc.’s service initiatives include providing academic scholarships to support postsecondary education, providing opportunities and support for young people to achieve healthy and productive outcomes; and providing support of academic achievement at all levels through varied program initiatives. The CCE, Inc. sponsors educational and training seminars, along with designated programs and specific activities, which address community issues of health, economics, and family. The CCE, Inc. is a tax exempt organization.
